There are many reasons why you might be thinking about counselling or therapy, from dealing with difficult life events to feeling overwhelmed by difficult feelings that seem to have little obvious cause. Most people go through tough times in life when it can feel hard to see light at the end of the tunnel.
Each individual struggles with personal difficulties which at times may challenge their quality of life or confidence. I fully believe we all have the capacity for change and personal growth through self-knowledge and understanding. A genuinely warm and honest therapeutic experience can help you to find the way to begin to take control of your life and make positive changes – manage difficult relationships and situations, painful emotions or safely explore recurring unwanted patterns or memories of destructive or addictive behaviour. For a variety of reasons this is not always achievable with the help of family and friends.
